What time is check-in?

Check-in is any time after 3:00 pm on the night of your check-in date. Kindly reach out to the hotel for arrivals after midnight. Early check-ins must be requested and are subject to an early check-in fee.

What time is check-out?

Check-out is any time before 11:00 am on the morning of your check-out date. Late check-out is subject to availability and at the discretion of the hotel. Please note a late check-out fee will be applied.

What is the minimum age requirement for checking in?

All guests must be 25 years of age or older to book a room and check in. A valid government issued photo ID will be verified upon check in.

How can I proceed if I am expecting to arrive after midnight?

Our guest service agents are on shift, 24 hours, 7 days per week and can check you in at any time after 3:00 pm on your check-in date.

What is needed to check-in?

Upon check-in, we require a valid government issued, photo ID, for domestic guests, and passports, for international guests. We also require a valid credit card with a chip, as we do not accept cash. We collect the full payment for the duration of your stay and require a credit card deposit of $250 for incidentals, at the time of check-in. Kindly inform your financial institution prior to your travels. We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, & Discover.  Guests must also sign a guest release agreement form for each stay upon check-in.

What is your cancellation policy?

Upon booking we require a 20% deposit to secure the reservation, with the remaining balance due upon check-in. If the reservation booked is refundable, a refund of the 20% deposit can be requested within 48 HRS prior to check-in (which is the cancellation window period) for eligibility; otherwise the deposit will be forfeited. Kindly note that this does not apply to non-refundable reservations or packages, since those reservations & packages are charged in full upon booking & cannot be refunded or amended at any time.

Do you allow pets?

No, we are not pet friendly. By law we are required to accept service animals. Per ADA, service animals are trained to assist with a task. We do not accept therapy or emotional support animals.

Do you offer smoking rooms?

The Henry Norman Hotel is 100% non-smoking.

Do you offer parking?

We do not offer parking, however we are located in a residential neighborhood, in which there is free street parking. We do advise all guests to be cautious of alternate street parking. On weekends and holidays, parking rules are suspended.

Does the hotel provide a shuttle?

We do not offer shuttles.

Is there luggage storage?

Yes, upon check-out or prior to check-in, our bellmen are happy to store your luggage. Feel free to explore Brooklyn throughout the day and your luggage will be secure and ready to pick up upon your return.
